Using CursorFX to change your Windows cursors and pointers - Tutorial 1 - Installation
Like most Stardock software, installing the software is
really easy. Firstly, visit the
download page for CursorFX,
or go straight for the super duper CursorFX Plus
(the additional features of the Plus version are explained on the download page). Save the file to your
desktop or somewhere where you can easily access it. Once the download is complete, double click the file
to start the installation process. You may need to enter your administrators password and/or click "continue"
if prompted to do so by Windows User Account Control. You should then see the window shown below:-
You can also choose who has access to the software. Choosing "Anyone who uses this computer" means that you and any other users who share this computer will be able to change cursors and pointers with CursorFX. Selecting "Only for me" will mean that you can only access the software when using the account you are currently logged in with.
When you have decided on these options, click on "Next >". You will then be taken to the window shown below:-
