When using Eset Smart Security in interactive filtering mode, it's up to you which programs can and cannot connect to the Internet. This allows for much more flexibility and we recommend that most users enable this mode and get used to working with the infrequent firewall alerts. What happens if you accidentally block a program and then later realise you actually wanted it to connect? No need to panic, our video tutorial will show you what to do.

Additional notes

When dealing with firewall alerts, we always recommend you err on the side of caution. It's much better to accidentally block a legitimate application than accidentally allow a malicious one.
