Protect your privacy with Evidence Eliminator - Tutorial 1 - Installation


Evidence Eliminator is the strongest and most effective file shredder and PC cleaning utility on the market. For users who want a Windows file shredder with the very best security, Evidence Eliminator is a must. Installing EE is a long process compared to some applications, but is very straightforward. This tutorial will walk you through the steps involved in installing the software.

Before you begin - You will require either the demo version or a set of key codes. To download the demo version, Click here. Unfortunately the demo version is heavily restricted, but it will give you some idea of how the program works. If you are installing the full version, make sure you have obtained your key codes for Evidence Eliminator. You can purchase the software by visiting this page. You will also receive an executable file as a download once you have ordered the software. Save this file to your desktop, or somewhere where you can easily find it.

Windows Vista users must answer "Yes" or "Allow" to any User Account Control prompts that appear. You may be prompted to restart your PC in order to update system files during the installation. If this happens, restart your PC and start the tutorial again from the beginning.

Now, let's get started. double click on the executable file to start the installation process. You should see a window like the one shown below:-

Click "OK" to proceed to the window shown below:-

Click on "Next >" to move to the window shown below:-

This window contains technical information about this version of the software. Scroll down to review it then click "Next >" when you are ready to proceed to the next window:-

This window contains the license agreement. You should read this agreement and if you accept the terms and conditions, click on "Yes" to move to the window shown below:-

Here you can choose where to install the software. The default location is correct for most users, so simply click on "Next >" to be taken to the window shown below:-

Here you can choose where to install the programs short-cuts. If you are unsure, just leave the options as the default and click on "Next >" to move to the window shown below:-

Nothing to do on this window other than click "Next >"

There will be a short pause while files are copied. When the process is complete, you will see the window shown below:-

All the files are now copied, but before you can start to use the program you need to enter your registration codes. Click on "Finish >". (If you are only using the demo, you can skip this part of the tutorial for now).

You will then be taken to the desktop where there will be a shortcut for the program. Double click on the icon to start the program for the first time. You should then see the window shown below:-

Enter your keycodes, as supplied by Robin Hood software, then click on "OK". If you have entered your codes correctly you should see the window shown below:-

Take a moment to read this window, then click on "OK". You should see the window shown below:-

Because you cannot recover your key-codes in the event of a system crash, the publisher recommends that you print them. This is certainly a good idea. If you don't have a printer, at least store a backup copy of your key codes. Click on "OK" when you have done this, you should now see the window shown below:-

If you entered your codes correctly, you should now see this window. If you do not, try closing the program and trying again (from step 9). Click on "OK". You are now ready to start configuring and using Evidence Eliminator.
