In this tutorial, we show you some of the more advanced features of Outpost Firewall and explain how to manually allow programs to connect to the internet. Outpost is a very powerful and feature rich firewall. Many users will barely scratch the surface of what can be done with the configuration manager.

Don't Panic! Try not to be too concerned if the material in this tutorial seems complicated. Outpost has been designed so that you won't need to change these settings very often. Expert users like to be able to control every aspect of their software, but for the rest of us the default settings are usually fine.
