Why our PC doctor service is the best

If you took your car to a garage with an oil leak and the garage simply topped up your oil, would you be satisfied with the level of service you had received? Chances are you would not, and yet, this is exactly the level of service you can expect to recieve from our competitors. Having your PC repaired can be expensive and inconvenient, even at our extremely competitive rates. That is why our repair service does not stop at simply cleaning your computer.

Scan, fix, leave. That's the level of service you can expect from our competitors. If your PC has been crippled by spyware, viruses or other malicious software, we can help not only to get your computer back to a healthy state, but professionally install and configure our ACEL security packages to help your PC stay that way.

Unlike some of our competitors, we use advanced software techniques to clean your PC without reformatting your hard drive or reinstalling Windows, in fact, to date we have successfully fixed ALL our clients machines without having to reformat the hard drive (except where the client specifically instructed us to do so). Compare that to several of our local competitors who simply erase all your data, emails, bookmarks and other information and return your PC to a factory fresh state.

Furthermore, we scan and clean your system using the worlds top rated antivirus and anti spyware solutions.

We can fix your PC in our workshop or, if you prefer, you can use our call out service and one of our experienced engineers will visit your premises to fix your machine. (We currently offer the call out service service within the Newark and Lincoln areas, subject to availability).

Don't forget we operate a no fix no fee policy on all our workshop repairs. For call-outs we also operate a no fix no fee policy but this will only apply if we cannot fix your computer or advise you how to remedy the problem by contacting your Internet provider or by purchasing additional equipment or peripherals. We also reserve the right to charge for a repeat consultation.

Call Out Service:

Our call out service is available for those users who are unable to bring their PCs to us. Minor problems can be fixed within the hour, but for more complicated procedures we may need to remove your computer to our workshop.

The price for the call out service is £30 for the first hour and £7.50 for every half hour worked after that. There is no call out charge, but there is a minimum time charge of £30 for one hour. Many problems can be fixed in an hour or less, meaning you only pay £30!

NOD32 Antivirus/ESET Smart Security:

To protect yourself against further virus threats on the internet, we reccomend NOD32 Antivirus or ESET Smart Security. ESET Smart Security includes NOD32 antivirus and also a cutting edge software firewall to protect your computer from hackers.

Please note; the call out service is only available for PCs that are still able to boot into Windows. If you have a more serious problem then please contact us for an estimate or to arrange the pick up/drop off of your machine (a collection charge will apply).
