Please note, This tutorial is for Acronis True Image 2011. If you are using the latest version of the software, True Image 2012, click here.

Creating rescue media with Acronis True Image is very important. If your hard drive fails or you are unable to start your operating system, you will not be able to access the program unless you have a rescue disk. Rescue disks can be created using CD or DVD recordable discs, USB stick/pen drives or even legacy floppy disks. Don't put it off until another day, create a rescue disk now.
