Backup Windows XP with the Windows XP Backup Utility. Tutorial 3 - Schedule and advanced options


In this video, we take a look at the advanced options in the Windows XP Backup Utility. Specifically, we'll schedule a regular backup of the documents and settings folders and briefly look at the other options available to the user.

Additional notes

If you schedule a backup to an external hard drive, don't forget to attach your hard drive before the backup is due to start. If you have very valuable data on your PC, you may wish to take a hard drive with your backup data on it and store it at another location, as an additional security measure against fire or theft.
