Windows 7 Compatibile tutorial Last updated July 20, 2010 12:32 PM

Windows 7 users can record or burn ISO images in their operating system without the need for any third party software. Using this feature is really easy. First, locate the ISO image you want to record using Windows Explorer:-

Burn ISO on Windows 7 - Step 1

Now, simply double click on the ISO image to launch the ISO recorder. The window shown below will then appear:-

Burn ISO on Windows 7 - Step 2

Insert a blank disc into your CD/DVD recorder drive. If you want Windows to verify the recording after it is completed, make sure to select the option "Verify disc after burning". Click "Burn" once you are ready to begin the recording procedure.

There will be a delay while Windows records the disc image onto your CD. When the process is complete, the window will look like the one shown below:-

Congratulations, your ISO file has been successfully recorded. Remember to see our tutorial on booting from CD/DVD if you were recording a Truecrypt rescue CD or other type of rescue/diagnostic CD.
