Beat computer viruses with NOD32 - Tutorial 3 - How to perform a manual computer virus scan in NOD32

Please note:- These tutorials are for the old NOD32 Version 2 only. This has been superseded by the much improved NOD32 version 3. Version 3 of NOD32 is not compatible with Windows 98/ME however, so we are leaving these tutorials in-place for anyone running a legacy Windows operating system.

In this video tutorial, we show you how to perform a full computer virus scan on your system using NOD32's manual or "On Demand" virus scanner. Although NOD scans new files and folders silently in the background, it is still a good idea to perform a manual scan from time to time. Please wait a moment while the video loads.

When you are ready to watch the video, click on the play button on the video control panel below (you may need to scroll down to see the button).

The "on-demand scanner" in NOD32 is a powerful tool for cleaning infected systems and is often used by computer repair companies to clean infected machines as part of their servicing procedures. The next tutorial explores the on demand scanning options further and includes details of the options set in this video for your reference.
