Protect yourself from computer viruses for free using AVG - Tutorial 3 - Performing a manual virus scan


Now that AVG is installed, we will show you how to manually scan for computer viruses on your system. If for any reason you want to run a virus scan immediately, follow this tutorial.

Additional Notes

The new version of AVG (Version 9) as featured in this video, now includes a spyware scanner too. You may find that the software detects "Tracking Cookies". Most spyware scanners will remove these as they can be used to track your surfing habits, but they pose no risk to your system.
