Use the free EASEUS Disk Copy to make a backup copy of your hard drive

In this tutorial, we’ll show you a typical example of how to use EASEUS Disk Copy to clone one hard drive to another. Before attempting this tutorial, you will need to record a copy of EASEUS Disk Copy to a blank CD or DVD disc as per this tutorial and also reconfigure your computers BIOS settings, if necessary.

Please exercise caution when following this tutorial!

Please be sure to double and triple check that you are copying the correct hard drive(s) when using EASEUS Disk Copy. The copy operations cannot be reversed. If you mistakenly copy your external hard drive onto your computers hard drive you will lose all your data and leave your computer unable to boot.

Additional notes

EASEUS Disk Copy only supports cloning hard drives or partitions to other hard drives. If you require a free solution which can create recovery DVD or CD discs, for example, you may wish to investigate EASEUS Todo Backup.
