Got a Windows XP problem you just can't solve? Been infected with stubborn malware? This guide will show you how to reinstall Windows XP and get your system up and running again

XP Compatibile tutorial Last updated May 28, 2010 1:56 PM

In this video we demonstrate how to reinstall Windows XP. We'll be doing a complete reinstallation of Windows XP by first removing the old operating system. Because this process is lengthy, we have split the procedure into two videos. In this first part we show you how to format your hard drive and completely remove the old operating system. These videos also show how to install Windows XP from scratch, the procedure is exactly the same as performing a full reinstallation.

Caution! Caution!

Please exercise caution when following this tutorial!

Additional notes

You should also ignore any subsequent "Press any key to boot from CD" messages. You only need to start from the CD once, after that you must load/boot from your hard drive.
