Use Stardock Impulse to download, install, buy, upgrade, manage and safeguard a huge range of great software - Tutorial 1 - Installing Impulse

While you can manually download and install the Stardock software products we recommend on Top-Windows-Tutorials.com, the easiest way to install them and keep them up to date is to use Impulse. Impulse gives you access to a huge library of software and manages your licenses all from one central hub. To install Impulse, first download the program. You can download it directly from this link here. Save the file to your desktop or somewhere where you can easily access it. When the file has downloaded, double click on it, or choose open in your web browsers download manager to start the installation process.

Windows Vista Users - You may be required to enter your Administrators user name and password and/or grant permission to continue if Windows User Account Control prompts you to do so.

Once the installation process is started, the following window will be displayed:-

Click "Next >". The following window will then be displayed:-

Scroll down to read the license agreement and if you agree, tick the box labelled "I accept the terms of the license agreement" and then click "Next >" to move to the window shown below:-

Here you can choose an installation directory for the program. The default location is correct for most users, so simply click on "Next >". The following window will then be displayed:-

There will be a short delay while files are downloaded and copied. Please note that the installer downloads components from the internet, if you have a firewall installed, you must grant permission for Impulse to connect if prompted.

When the installation is complete, the following window will be displayed:-

Congratulations, you have successfully installed the software. Click on "Finish" and Impulse will now open.
