Additional notes

How safe is LastPass? Can my master password be recovered? LastPass has been designed to provide the highest level of security for your passwords. If you forget your master password then unfortunately any data you have stored in your LastPass vault is lost! For security reasons, there are no back doors into the vault.

However, we still recommend that you never write down your master password. If somebody else discovers this password they will be able to access all the personal information you stored in your LastPass vault.
