Note - Adobe Flash Player Plugin installation should now be completely automatic on new versions of Mozilla Firefox and on all versions of Internet Explorer 7 and 8. However, many users have had difficulty with Adobe's new Download Manager (DLM) extension. This tutorial will show you how to bypass the Adobe Download Manager and manually install Flash player.

To start the manual installation, click this link. This will bypass Adobe's download manager and simply download the latest version of Flash Player for Firefox. You must now completely close down Firefox, including the download manager window and any other Firefox Windows windows that are open. Now, tick/check the box that is labelled "I have read and agree to the terms of the license agreement" and click on "Install". There will be a short pause while files are copied and configured. When the process is complete, the following window will be displayed:-
