In this Picasa tutorial, we'll show you how to catalogue, tag and enhance your pictures. Picasa makes it really easy to apply basic but effective image processing effects to your photographs. Tools like this would only have been available in expensive commercial programs in the past. Amateur photographers never had it so good!

Additional notes

The retouch blemish tool can be used for close-up photographs to remove skin blemishes. To do this, use a smaller brush than we used in the example and work slowly and carefully. It can also be used to remove small marks on scanned photographs.
