Use the Windows Services tool to manage services on your Windows PC. We show you how, step by step

In this video, we take a look at the Windows Services tool. You may need to use this tool occasionally to troubleshoot a specific Windows problem. Advanced users may want to try tweaking which services are running in order to save computing time and improve PC performance, though since services take up very little computing power, results are likely to be limited.

Windows XP users can start the Services tool by using the "Run" command from the Start Menu and entering "services.msc" then clicking OK.
