Optimize Windows start-up times using StartupDelayer - Tutorial 1 - Installation

There are lots of cool widgets, desktop enhancements and other utilities available for Windows PC's these days. If you simply can't resist adding more programs to your desktop, you may have several programs all trying to start at once when your computer starts up. To speed up startup times, you can delay certain programs from starting, thus preventing several applications trying to start at once and all slowing each other down. To do this, use R2 Studios StartupDelayer.

In this tutorial, we'll show you how to install StartupDelayer. To begin, download the latest version from this page. The download link is at the bottom of the page. Save the file to your desktop or somewhere you can easily access it. When downloading is complete, double click on the icon or choose "Open" from your browsers download manager to start the installation process. Windows Vista and Windows 7 users will need to enter their administrator password and/or click "Yes" if prompted by Windows User Account Control.

The following window will then appear:-
