In this video we'll take a look at the System Restore utility in Windows XP. If you have a recent problem with your computer, then by using the System Restore utility you can 'roll back' your PC to an earlier date, before the problem occurred. Frequently this will solve the problem and allow you to continue using your system as normal.

System Restore is designed so that it does not delete or alter documents, photos, e-mails or other similar files. If you find that System Restore has removed a program or setting that you need, you can reverse the process by starting System Restore again and choosing "Undo my last restoration".
