Check your Vista Firewall settings with this quick and easy tutorial

The Windows Vista Firewall should be enabled by default, unless you have installed a third-party firewall. This tutorial will show you how you can check the firewall settings in Windows Vista. Vista users can check that their firewall is enabled by doing the following. Firstly, click Start, and select "Control Panel":-

The Vista control panel will now be displayed:-

Under "Security" choose "Check this computers security status". The following window will now appear:-

From this screen, we can see that the Windows Firewall is enabled. To configure the firewall further, click on "Windows Firewall" in the left hand pane of this window. To view our Vista Firewall video tutorial, click here.
