Backup your PC using the new and improved Windows 7 Backup Utility. Tutorial 2 - Restoring files from a backup
Quick links for Windows 7 Backup Utility:-
Tutorial 1 - Configuring an automatic backup Tutorial 3 - Restoring a system image In this video, we'll show you how to use the Backup Utility to restore files or folders from a backup. Once you have mastered this skill, you can be confident that you'll be able to recover your important files and folders from your backups in the event of an emergency. If you have been backing up to an external storage device, don't forget to attach it before attempting this procedure. To start the video presentation, please click on the picture below.
Additional notes Remember that if you restore files or folders to their original destinations, Windows may overwrite more recent versions of those files. For example, if you restored a copy of the file "accounts.txt" from a backup made several weeks ago, you would overwrite the current version of "accounts.txt". To avoid this, restore the files to an alternative location like we did in the video.
