Backup your PC using the new and improved Windows 7 Backup Utility. Tutorial 1 - Configuring an automatic backup


In this video, we perform and schedule our first backup using the Windows 7 Backup and Restore control panel window. The Windows 7 version of the Backup Utility is much improved over Windows Vista and manages to be both the most powerful and easy to use Windows backup utility to date.

Additional notes

Windows 7 can also backup to DVD-R discs if your computer has a suitable DVD recorder drive. If your backup data is larger than the size of a DVD disc, the utility will automatically split the backup archive and prompt you to insert additional media. Keep in mind that backing up to DVD may require a large amount of discs if you have lots of multimedia files on your computer.
