Additional notes

We might have exaggerated a little when we said everyone loved the new search features in Windows Vista. Many XP users were initially confused and bewildered by the new search interface. Message boards quickly filled up with angry users who claimed that the new search missed files and wasn't user friendly.

Although the new search interface is a little more complicated and maybe even fiddly in places (e.g when adding filters) powerful new features like tags and saved searches are a big improvement over Windows XP. Take your time to experiment and learn about searching in Windows 7, you'll be glad you did.
