Windows Live Messenger comes with full support for headsets/microphones and webcams. In this video, we'll show you how to configure the audio and video settings in Live Messenger. Once you have done this, you'll be able to start a voice chat (VOIP) or video chat conversation easily.

Current Video Playback problems:- We are sadly still experincing issues with video playback on our site, please contact us if you encounter a video advert longer than one minute that you cannot skip, or a video that does not load. We apologise for this inconvenience.

Additional notes

If your speakers/headphones are correctly configured you should be able to hear a sound when you click "Test". In the video, you cannot hear the sound because it is played in the narrators headphones!
