Additional Hints for Beginners

Gently Does it! - Many computer novices press down very hard on the mouse buttons, this isn't necessary, a light press is all that is needed.

Don't Sweat the Double-Click! - Another common stumbling block for beginners is the double click. To successfully double click, you need to press the left mouse button (or right mouse button if your mouse is configured for left handed use) twice, one press immediately after the other. Do not be afraid to practise this skill. If you still have trouble, the enter key on your keyboard can often come to your rescue. Instead of double clicking with your mouse, simply single click an icon then press Enter on your keyboard.
