Additional hints for beginners

About the Control and Shift Keys - Marc tells us at some point in the video to press the Control and Shift keys. The Shift key is usually located directly above the Control (or Ctrl) key and is either labelled "Shift" or has an arrow pointing upwards. You may have noticed that your keyboard has more than one Control and Shift key. Although Marc tells you to use the one on the left, you can use either. Normally right handed people prefer to use the left hand Control/Shift keys, and vice versa.

For more information on using your keyboard, see our keyboard tutorial and our advanced keyboard tutorial.
