Before we can use any of the features of Diigo, we’ll need to create an account. Creating an account is really easy, especially now you can follow our video guide. Once you have completed this tutorial, you will have access to a huge range of new features and you’ll be able to start using the web in a whole new way.

What are Social privileges?
Social privileges in Diigo refers to the ability to create sticky notes on web pages that all users can see. By default, sticky notes are created as private and can only be seen by you when you sign into your Diigo account. Originally all users could create public sticky notes, but predictably spammers took advantage of this, so the feature was restricted to paying customers only.
