In this encryption tutorial video, we take a look at how to create a VeraCrypt (formerly Truecrypt) volume. A VeraCrypt volume is like a digital safe on your hard drive where you can store your important or confidential documents. VeraCrypt uses AES encryption by default, which is considered military strength encryption, so it’s more than adequate for most users needs.

Additional notes

When creating larger VeraCrypt volumes, note that 1 gigabyte is the same as 1024 megabytes.
