Eraser homepage.
Before installing Eraser, please remove any previous versions of the software from your computer. You can do this by going to the control panel and choosing “Add or Remove Programs” (Windows XP) or “Programs” (Windows Vista/Windows 7).
Now, download the latest version of the software from the Eraser homepage. Save the file to your desktop or somewhere where you can easily find it. When the download is complete, double click on the file to start the installation.
Windows Vista and Windows 7 users – You may see a Windows User Account Control prompt appear, asking you to grant permission to install Eraser. You must click on “Yes” (you may also be prompted for your administrator password) in order for the installation to continue.
Once you have done this, the following window will be displayed:-

Click on “Next”. The following window will then be displayed:-

Scroll down to read the licence agreement and if you are happy with the terms, click on “Next” to move to the window shown below:-

Choose an installation mode by clicking on the relevant button. For this tutorial, we are using a Typical installation. Once you click on “Typical” the following window will appear:-

Everything is now ready to install, so click on “Install”. You will now see a window like the one shown below:-

There will be a short pause while files are copied to your computer. When this process is complete, the following window will be displayed:-

The program is now installed, click on “Finish” to exit the installer and start the program.
