I have been trying to make a list of files that are in my folders, if I click on a file to copy to a desk top folder ( I am a one finger typer ) it I just open it or plays a video,
is it possible to make a copy or do some other thing.

    Hi Planks,

Files should normally only open if you double click them, unless you changed this setting in your mouse properties. Try right clicking on a file and choosing “copy” from the context menu if you are struggling.

As for listing files, you can do this in Windows with a bit of command prompt wizardry, but there are dozens of utilities to do this much more easily. Try this one for instance.

    Hope that helps!
