What is VirtualBox? And how can you get to that without still infecting your computer? Sounds interesting. I will have to look into it.

Haha! That’s cute! I can see how this would be important info, in case your kids play on your computer, but I never thought about a cat doing it!

Thanks for that info. I will probably just stick with the XP for the moment. Most likely I will have a new computer before 2014 and I may just have Windows 7 on it.

Well, I actually went to something a little different yesterday – I saw a “Blair Crimmins and the Hookers” show. They are very “New Orleans”. It was a fun show! I can’t honestly say that I will start to listen to this type of music, but I did enjoy it there and had a great time!

Actually, I sort of want everyone to see what I put on Facebook – I figure that’s the whole point of the thing. I use it to share things with family and friends, and I figure it is easier than picking up the phone and talking to each one individually. Also I use it to promote things that I like. It makes it so much easier to spread the word when I find something good.

Oh, wow! Thank you so much! I appreciate the suggestion and I will be sure to use the link. Another reason I haven’t really started anything is, like most people, I hardly have the time, but once I make the time, it will actually make things a little easier for me.

How do you test a repair CD without installing it? Sorry if that’s a stupid question, I just can’t really imagine how you do that.

Oh, wow. Well, I will be sure not to be too nosy when I find any stray USB sticks. I guess you would look at them, even if you want to be a good Samaritan and do it just to try and see who it belonged to, so you could give it back.

I am still using Windows XP Professional. I’m pretty happy with it. Should I switch to Windows 7? Is there a lot I am missing?

I really have never had any problems with Facebook. I think it is ok, unless you get to one of those pages that asks for your permission to share your info. If it does that, I leave it alone.

I am afraid to say, because I don’t want my idea to be stolen, but I would want to update it daily, and I would want to add a calender which would allow others to sign up for certain things that they wanted to participate in.

I can’t understand how Quicken would even have anything to do with the computer sounds. Maybe you should uninstall it and then reinstall it, or try a System Restore and then re-install?

How can Autoplay be a security risk? I am not really sure why I would want to disable it. Even if you just choose to run it, won’t there still be the same risks involved?

As important as I know this is, I keep telling myself to make one. I really need to do it before it’s too late. I’ve already had a computer die on me and I lost a lot of valuable stuff that I have never been able to recover.
