Genie Timeline 2012 Professional tutorial 2 – Configuring a backup

Once Genie Timeline is installed, there are a few simple settings to configure in order to start your first backup. This tutorial will walk you through these settings so that you can start protecting your files right away. Note that you will need a secondary hard drive (internal or external) to complete this tutorial and use Genie Timeline correctly.

Additional notes

If you are using an external hard drive for your backups, remember to connect it as often as possible. Genie Timeline will remind you to connect your backup drive periodically and will take a backup as soon as it detects that it has been connected.
