Gmail tutorial 2 – Managing and e-mailing contacts

Although you can type an e-mail address manually in Gmail, it is usually much more convenient to save your contacts and then simply click their names when you want to send them an e-mail. In this video we’ll show you how to add a new contact to your contact list and also how to compose a message to a contact or to several contacts.

Additional notes

Contacts you save in your Gmail contacts will be available to you when using Gmail on other platforms too, such as on your phone. Some exceptions apply to this. For instance if you access your Gmail using a desktop e-mail package like Outlook or Thunderbird, you may need additional software in order to access your Gmail contacts.
