Remote support terms and conditions
Please read the following legal information carefully. If you do not agree to the terms and conditions set out here, please do not use this service.
Booking your remote support session
All remote support sessions must be pre-booked and pre paid. Time slots are allocated in half hour blocks.
the theme or content of the lesson must be agreed with the instructor/technician before the session starts. For instance, please specify what problem you are having with your computer or what you require tuition on. Our instructor will plan the session around this information and you will get better value from the remote support session if you provide this information.
We are located in the United Kingdom. Please remember to account for time differences when requesting remote support. We can work outside of office hours but only by prior arrangement.
By purchasing this service, you agree that a Top-Windows-Tutorials/ACEL Systems representative will remotely connect to your computer across the internet. The representative will have control of your mouse and keyboard. You can terminate this connection at any time. Remember that the representative will be able to see everything on your screen. Please close and save any confidential documents before allowing the connection.
The representative will NOT be able to connect to your computer without your permission, or once the training session is over.
Refunds and disputes
You have the right to cancel your remote support session. Cancellations made 12 hours or more before the session starts will be refunded in full. Cancellations made after this deadline will be charged for the first half-hour only.
If you are dissatisfied with the service during a training session, you may elect to terminate it early. You will be charge only for the time you spent with the instructor, to the nearest half hour.
If the instructor finishes early or solves your problem more quickly than anticipated, you will be charged only for the time you spent with the instructor, to the nearest half hour.
Sessions will be refunded in full in the following circumstances:-
We are not able to connect to your computer for technical or other reasons.
The quality of the connection is deemed too poor for us to carry out the work or training required. This is at our discretion.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are not able to participate in a pre-arranged training session.
Due to other extenuating circumstances, at our discretion.
Top-Windows-Tutorials.com / ACEL Systems provides this facility as a service.
During training, the instructor will provide advice and technical support. We will always do our utmost to ensure that this advice is sound but no guarantee is given that it is correct, complete, and/or up-to-date.
The training and technical support sessions are provided for general information purposes only and do not constitute legal or other professional advice on any subject matter. Top-Windows-Tutorials / ACEL Systems does not accept any responsibility for any loss which may arise from reliance on information provided.
The service and and its contents are provided “AS IS” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
OTHER THAN THE FOREGOING LIMITED WARRANTY, WHICH IS MADE SOLELY BY ACEL SYSTEMS AND NOT BY ANY ACEL SYSTEMS SUPPLIER, THE SERVICE BEING PROVIDED TO YOU IS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. ACEL SYSTEMS AND ITS SUPPLIERS DISCLAIM ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NONINFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE DISCLAIMER OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THE ABOVE DISCLAIMER MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU, IN WHICH CASE THE DURATION OF ANY SUCH IMPLIED WARRANTIES IS LIMITED TO NINETY (90) DAYS FROM THE DATE THE SERVICE IS RECEIVED BY YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS. YOU MAY HAVE OTHER LEGAL RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. IN NO EVENT SHALL ACEL SYSTEMS AGGREGATE LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT AND THE SOFTWARE AND SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF THE ACTION GIVING RISE TO SUCH LIABILITY (WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE), EXCEED THE FEES RECEIVED BY ACEL SYSTEMS FOR THE SERVICE. NO ACEL SYSTEMS SUPPLIER SHALL HAVE ANY LIABILITY WHATSOEVER UNDER THIS AGREEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL ACEL SYSTEMS OR ACEL SYSTEMS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, EXEMPLARY, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOST PROFITS), EVEN IF ACEL SYSTEMS OR SUCH SUPPLIER HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. ACEL SYSTEMS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIMS OF THIRD PARTIES RELATING TO THE SOFTWARE. THE LIMITED WARRANTY, LIMITED REMEDIES AND LIMITED LIABILITY PROVISIONS CONTAINED IN THIS AGREEMENT ARE FUNDAMENTAL PARTS OF THE BASIS OF ACEL SYSTEMS BARGAIN HEREUNDER, AND ACEL SYSTEMS WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO PROVIDE THE SOFTWARE OR SERVICE TO YOU WITHOUT SUCH LIMITATIONS. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY, SO THE ABOVE DISCLAIMER MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU, IN WHICH CASE THE DURATION OF ANY SUCH LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO NINETY (90) DAYS FROM THE DATE THE SERVICE IS RECEIVED BY YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS. YOU MAY HAVE OTHER LEGAL RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION.
Changes to the service or these terms and conditions
We reserve the right to change or amend the service or remove it at any time. We will notify any current customers of changes to the agreement before their remote support session takes place.
