Speed up Vista using Performance Information and Tools – Tutorial 3 – Adjusting indexing options
In this video tutorial, we investigate another way to speed up Vista using the Performance Information and Tools section of the control panel. However, creating these index files can consume extra computer resources. Disabling indexing services in Windows Vista might save you some computer memory and processor time, but keep in mind that disabling them can make searching your computer much slower.
